Caring for older persons can become a bit overwhelming at times. A FAMILY CAREGIVER WORKSHOP is being held on Jan. 13 at Hickory Grove Church in partnership with Area IV Agency on Aging. At this workshop you will gain insight and understanding, find community resources, learn coping techniques and be encouraged. This workshop is being presented as a community service and the public is invited and encouraged to attend. The seminar will last from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and lunch will be provided. There is no charge for attending but seating is limited and therefore reservations

are required. To make your reservations call Pastor Ken Smith at the church office at 574-965-2731. Hickory Grove Church is located 5 miles south of Idaville on Carroll County Road 700W.

The first week of January,

CALVARY CHAPEL will be meeting at Canal Park’s Interpretive Center on Sundays. Services will start at 10 a.m. Pastor Eric Haley can be heard live streaming from WHLP-FM Hanna by going to www.calvaryradionetwork. com. He hosts Battle Ground, a call-in radio prayer show, on Mondays at 11:30 a.m.
