Marilyn Hile Deer Creek 859-4871

The deacons at Deer Creek Presbyterian Church are again planning to fill Thanksgiving baskets for the needy. Those wanting to help are asked to bring canned foods and nonperishables and place them in the Narthex. Donations will be accepted through Sunday. Anyone knowing a family in need is asked to contact a deacon.

Faith Lutheran Church is having a women's bible study Thursday, Nov 15, at 9 a.m. and Friday, Nov 16, at 7 p.m.

Ralph and Etta Byers traveled to Branson, Mo., on a bus trip with their daughter and husband, Vicki and Steve Anderson. They attended several shows before returning home.

The Golden Girls of Deer Creek met recently at the home of Margy and Harry Albaugh. Harry fried fish for the women and they all brought a covered dish. Those attending besides the Albaughs were Pat and Bob Burnham and Darletta and Joan Jones of Thorntown, Mary and Jerry Blue of Cutler, Dot Fulton, Marilyn Hile of Deer Creek and Betty Gordon and Jane Slusser of Logansport.
