Shawn K. Gillikin and Shawn D. Kelly were married Oct. 10 in Beaufort, N.C.

She is a 1998 graduate of Mead High School in Washington. He is a 2000 graduate of Carroll High School.

He is in the United States Marine Corps and is stationed at Cherry Point, N.C.

They have a six-month old named Haley.

On Oct. 20 they were honored with a reception and cookout by family and friends.

She is the daughter of Ray Gillikin of Beaufort, N.C., and the late Barbara Low. He is the son of Dave and Terri Kelly of Cutler.

The couple now resides in Havelock, N.C.
