Oracle JV buries Gophers
The Delphi JV football team defeated Clinton Prairie last week 22-18. Tanner Cripe led the Oracles on offense with two touchdown runs. One came on a 65-yard scamper and a 35-yard run from scrimmage. The other score came from Cory Smith on a two-yard run.
The first two-point conversion was a pass from Cripe to Nathan McTigue. The second was a sweep by Smith. The third conversion failed.
Defensively, the Oracles were led by Ethan Henderson with three sacks. Cripe added an interception.
The Oracles are now 2-3 on the season and played Monday at home against Sheridan.
