2007-08-08 / Local News
Fashions from the period when Delphi's opera house was a prominent town attraction will be presented by Delphi Preservation Society during Old Settlers Friday night.
Jean Cole of Cole Clothing Museum in Logansport will narrate "What Shall I Wear To The Opera?" in the circuit court room on the third floor of the courthouse from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Models will illustrate what women might have worn to the theater between the 1880s and early 1900s, the same period the opera house was used regularly.
