J. Paul and Lena Jones celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with family and friends. The party was hosted by their daughter, Sandra Harrison (husband Dave), their son John Jones (wife Carolyn) and two grandchildren.

The couple were married on July 31, 1937, in Chattanooga, Tenn. They lived in Delphi over 50 years before moving to San Diego three years ago.

Mrs. Jones retired from bookkeeping/accounting after a 30-year career. He retired after 25 years as operations manager at Green Acres and Ernie's Fertilizer.
