Travel team places third in World Series

Two area girls are members of the 12U travel team based out of Lafayette that placed third out of 73 teams in the NSA "B" North World Series held recently in Merrillville. They are Sydney Pencek and Fallon Rumell.

Opening ceremonies on Sunday featured a march with over 200 World Series teams, ages ranging from 10U up to 16U.
