Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Dewey) Reames of Burlington will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house Aug. 4 at Faith Church of Christ, 312 South Michigan Street, Burlington.

The event will be from 2 to 5 p.m.

Reames and the former Jane Sutton were married Aug. 4, 1957, at Fletchers Church in Fletchers Lake, Ind.

He is retired from UPS, and she is a homemaker.

They have two children, Robert Reames (wife: Jeanne) of Kokomo and Sandy Davis (husband: Rex) of Burlington. The couple has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
