Florence Thomas Bell will celebrate her 100th birthday at an open house hosted by her family. The event will be Aug. 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Deer Creek Community Center. Mrs. Bell was born Aug. 12, 1907. One of six children, her parents were Lewis and Carrie Thomas. She has two living sisters, Agnes Hanson of Kokomo and Edna Trueb of Logansport. More ...
