APC issues 32 permits in July
Thirty-two permits were issued by Carroll County Area Plan Commission during July, for improvements amounting to $1,177,300.
Residential permits with $664,000 value were issued to persons in the following townships:
Burlington - Ross and Kelly Salts, residence; Brian Tussinger, residence;
Deer Creek - Jimmy and Christina Arion, residence; Claudia and Betty Lou Martin, residence; Matthew Zook, residence;
Monroe - Charles Veach, residence.
Permits for remodeling and accessories were issued to the following:
Burlington - Jacob and Betty Deurloo, storage;
Deer Creek - Jimmy and Christina Arion, storage; Jeff and Davonna Dieterle, addition;
Delphi - Patricia Abbott, addition; Hosea Bernfield, storage and lean-to; Rodolfo Morales, storage; Kathryn and Jeffrey Shuler, deck; Karen Sisson, pool;
Democrat - Gordon Kuns, storage; Lowell Ward, garage;
Jefferson - David and Vickie Anderson, addition; Eric Duff, storage; Stanley Giesler, change roof pitch; David and Linda Ketterer, deck; Allen and Karen Treece, garage; Blue Ridge LLC, storage;
Liberty - Benjamin Austin, deck with partial roof;
Madison - Robert and Linda Barnett, picnic shelter;

The total collected from permits issued was $1,195, plus:
• Ayres Farms, Inc., pre-application permit for CFO or CAFO Washington Township, $25;
• Shown Draper, special exception application, $30;
• Farm Bureau, Inc., Carroll County Zoning Ordinance Book, $10;
• T-Bird Engineering and Surveying, Delphi Subdivision ordinance book, $10.
The total collected from permits in July is $1,270 with the total for the year now at $10,659.
