Carroll names high school award recipients
      Chelsea DeVos is the winner of the Carroll Honor Award. The award recognizes a graduating senior who is the finest example of a Carroll High School citizen. Criteria for the award includes character, integrity, trustworthiness, courtesy, dependability, cooperation, and faithfulness to the CJSHS tradition.

      Delegates and alternates from Delphi Community High School have been chosen to attend Hoosier Boys and Girls State programs in June at Indiana State University in Terre Haute.

      EFFIE JONES of Flora was honored by the Indiana University Kokomo School of Business during a May 4 luncheon. An accounting major, she received the Indiana CPA Society Award. Carroll County students who received bachelor of arts degrees from Wabash College on May 13 during the 169th commencement exercise were STERLING CARTER and JEFFREY WILLIAMS.
