Carroll girls' track team came within a point of winning the Hoosier Heartland Conference Meet. Clinton Central took first place honors with 127 points, with Carroll following with 126. Third place went to Central Catholic with 110 points; 4th to Clinton Prairie 96, 5th Rossville 26, and 6th Tri-Central 3.

First place finishes for Carroll belonged to: 100 and 300 Hurdles - Jaime McCarter, Pole Vault - Abby Reinke, and 3200 - Ashley Bordner.

Carroll boys also came in second to Clinton Central, 170, 102 5/6. Other placings in order were: Clinton Prairie 100 5/6, Central Catholic 68, Rossville 48 1/3, and Tri-Central 0.

Carroll boys won the 1600 relay with a time of 3:36.96.
