The Oracles had opportunities to score more runs but could not get the big clutch hit to get things rolling.

The Oracles traveled to West Lafayette to play the Hoosier Conference leaders last week in the first of two games, losing 8-1. The game started well for the Oracles. Myers had a lead off single.
