Carroll County Sheriff Tony Burns will be guest speaker at Saturday's Burlington Kiwanis Club meeting. He will speak on Identity Theft." The public is invited. The May 12 breakfast meeting of the Kiwanis Club will be the annual Prayer Breakfast. Also on May 12, the club's annual auction will be held at 3 p.m. in the large building at Burlington Community Park.

Community Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday.

A Mother-Daughter Banquet will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ.

The First Brethren Church will have a Mother-Daughter Banquet today, Wednesday, at 6 p.m. at the church.

Wednesday Bible Study and Prayer at the United Methodist Church will begin at 6 p.m. and focus on the Holy Land.

Men's Bible Study at Faith Church of Christ is held Wednesday evenings at 6:30.

Bible studies offered at the First Brethren Church include: Men's breakfast group on Fridays; Women's group on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. at the Petersons; and family at the Ticen's on Saturdays at 7 p .m.

Bible Study at Crossroads Community Christian Church is held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
