Life of Gene Stratton-Porter to be re-enacted

The charm, grace and nononsense Hoosier philosophy of writer Gene Stratton- Porter will come to life at a special presentation April 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Delphi Public Library.

An Evening With Gene Stratton-Porter will be presented by musician, teacher and entertainer Vickie Fuller- Kibellus.

Kibellus will portray turnof the-century naturalist/novelist Stratton-Porter in authentic costume, discussing her Wabash County childhood, her love of nature and her career as one of America's most successful authors.

The presentation will include humor, music, song and inspiration for positive living and is suitable for the entire family.

Refreshments will be served. The public is welcome to attend this free program, but registration is requested.

Kibellus is a graduate of Huntington University, She earned her MA in English from Ball State University. Originally from Uniondale, she and her husband, Carlton, and their six children now reside in Markle.
