Piano, vocal students bring home the gold
      Students from Carroll Jr.-Sr High School earned high marks at the District Piano/Vocal Solo and Ensemble Auditions on Feb. 3 at North Miami. The following students received a gold in Group I and are entered in the State Auditions at Warren Central High School on Feb.

      A L E X A N D E R ATKISSON, a 7th grader at Carroll Junior High School, r e c e n t l y served as a l e g i s l a t i v e page for State Repres e n t a t i v e Rich Mc- Clain (R-Log a n s p o r t ) during the 2007 session of the Indiana General Assembly. As a page, students 13 years and older spend the day gaining a greater understanding about state government and how laws are made.

DMS students compete to help
      Delphi middle school students were challenged by their homeroom teachers, working in conjunction with the Parents Actively Committed to Education (PACE) group, to collect as many non-perishable food items as possible by Super Bowl Sunday. The challenge was issued Jan. 25 and was called the "Soup(er) Bowl Challenge" in honor of the big game.

Delphi's Hillcrest students pARTy
      Eight students from Hillcrest Elementary were selected to participate in the 2007 Youth Art Exhibit "pARTy". They were: Meghan Garcia, first grade; Cassie Hanna, second; Emily Burwell, Caydence McClain, Tyler Kinzer and Connie Whitaker, fourth; Bransen Shidler and Miranda Kinzie, fifth grade.
