Named to all-area team

Oracle wide receiver Michael Myers has been named to the Lafayette Journal & Courier Small School All-Area football team. Teammate Coy Pennington earned honorable mention.

Myers, a 6-1 junior, was an Associated Press Class 2A All- State selection. He led the Oracles in catches with 43, receiving yards with 845, touchdowns with 9, and points, 72. He converted 15 of 16 point after attempts with one field goal.
