Norris M. Wise

Norris Miriam Ayres Wise, 88, of Sarasota, Fla., died Dec. 20, 2006, at Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care in Sarasota.

Mrs. Wise was born in Flora on May 9, 1918, to Clayton and Grace Stuart Ayres. She married Robert H. Wise in 1941, and he preceded her in death in September 2005.

Surviving are two daughters, Polly Honor of Lafayette and Pamela Sterns of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., two granddaughters and three great-granddaughters.

All services will be private for the family.
