Local church to host Family Caregiver Workshop

Caring for older persons can become a bit overwhelming at times. A Family Caregiver Workshop is being held on Jan. 13 at Hickory Grove Church in partnership with Area IV Agency on Aging.

At the workshop participants will gain insight and understanding, find community resources, learn coping techniques and be encouraged. The workshop is being presented as a community service and the public is invited and encouraged to attend. The seminar will last from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and lunch will be provided.

There is no charge for attending but seating is limited and therefore reservations are required. To make a reservations call Pastor Ken Smith at the church office at 574-965-2731. Hickory Grove Church is located five miles south of Idaville on Carroll County Road 700W.
