Taylor J. Rader

Taylor Jean Rader, 16, of R o s s v i l l e , died at 12:55 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at Lafayette H o m e Hospital. She died as a result of a one-vehicle auto accident in Clinton County the day before.

Born Sept. 16, 1990, in Sault Sainte Marie, Mich., she was the daughter of Jeffrey A. Rader and Sue Ellen Graham.

A junior at Rossville Middle/High School, Miss Rader was a member of the Rossville Rockettes Dance Team that placed in the 2006 state championship, and a former cheerleader.

She enjoyed babysitting, shopping, photography, cooking, styling hair, and being with her friends. She was a member of the Sault Sainte Marie Tribe of the Chippewa Indians.

Miss Rader was an organ donor.

Surviving are her mother of Rossville; her father of Tennessee; a brother, Jeffrey Rader II of Rossville; a sister, Barbie Rader, at home; her maternal grandparents, Jerry and Mary Baugh of St. Ignace, Mich.; her paternal grandparents, Floyd and Deanna Rader of Sault Sainte Marie; extended grandparents, Ted and Jackie Garrison of West Lafayette; special family, Jean Mann, Tony Garrison, Brent Patton and Josh Golden; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, at Rossville Middle/High School Gymnasium, where calling will be held prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. Pastors Tim Rader and Pamela Ditson- McCall will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.

Memorials may be made to the Taylor Rader Scholarship Dance Fund, c/o Rossville Middle/High School. Envelopes are available at the funeral home or the school.
