Soil boring at Canal Park Annex
Planning for the coming canal boat, warehouse, and dock is well under way, with completion expected in mid-2008. Here, soil boring is being conducted at the site where the canal boat warehouse will sit on the canal. The building will allow the boat to enter on water and be protected at night, and in the winter be lifted above the ice. It will be located in Canal Park Annex beside the City Well in the old “turning basin” space. Photo provided
