Patricia Ann Allen, 73, of Flora, died at 7:42 p.m. Dec. 7, 2006, at Clinton House in Frankfort.

Born Feb. 16,

1933, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Howard and Flossie Niehart Pickering. She graduated from Shortridge High school in 1951. On April 4, 1982, in Las Vegas, Nev., she married Russell Keith Allen, who survives.

Mrs. Allen formerly resided in South Gate, Calif., and Indianapolis.

She was a member of the Oaklandon Christian Church and a 25-plus-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Oaklandon, serving as worthy matron.

Also surviving are three sons, Steven Wilson (wife: Sue) of Minneapolis, Minn., Douglas Wilson of Indianapolis, and Russell K. Wilson of Camden; one daughter, Cindy Geracie (husband: Joseph) of Suwanee, Ga.; one half-sister, Ann Powell of Plainfield; and four grandchildren.

Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Services were held Monday at Baker Funeral Home, Flora (www.bakerfh.com). The Rev. Creta Hollis officiated. Burial was at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.
