Lottie Mae Ridenour

Lottie Mae Ridenour, 73, of Flora, passed away at 9:05 a.m. Dec. 9, 2006, at St. J o s e p h Hospital in Kokomo.

Mrs. Ridenour was born Dec. 30, 1932, in Carroll County to William F. and Lottie Quinn Seward.

She married Richard E. Ridenour on Feb. 10, 1951, in Young America, and he survives.

Mrs. Ridenour was a homemaker and worked on the farm with her husband.

She was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church, Ladies Aid Group, and the Farmeretts.

Mrs. Ridenour was an incredible cook and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was also known to be an Elvis fan.

Surviving are three daughters, Susan Plotner of Kokomo, Kathy Carrico (husband: Tommy) of Young America and Diana Troutman (husband: Joe) of Young America; one sister, Margaret Childers of Delphi; one brother, Bill Seward (wife: Rosie) of Flora; a brother-inlaw, Lloyd Pusey of Nyona Lake; five grandchildren, Chris Harmon (wife: Courtney) of Burlington, Craig Troutman of Young America and Daniel Plotner, Heather Stark (husband: John) and Michelle Porter (husband: Gary), all of Kokomo; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ridenour was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mary Troutman and Jane Pusey.

Services are today, Wednesday, at Murray-Weaver Funeral Home, US 35S. in Galveston, with Pastor John Newman officiating. Burial will be at Young America Cemetery.
