Burlington A free clothing and toy giveaway will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the basement at the United Methodist Church. Kiwanis Club will meet Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and meeting at the fire station. As a fundraiser, the club is selling Christmas trees at Jones’s IGA. Burlington Associate Club will meet at 9 a.m. Dec. 19 at the Burlington Senior Center. Cheryl Milburn will be hostess. Christmas cards will be passed out Sunday at the Church of Christ. There will be no delivery or mailing. All-church Christmas caroling for members and friends of the Church of Christ will be Sunday at 4:45 p.m. The Christmas cantata performance at the Church of Christ will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 20. CWF will provide refreshments afterwards. Services Sunday at the United Methodist Church will begin at 9 a.m. so that those who will be attending the Christmas program at Beef ‘N Boards in Indianapolis may leave at 11. United Methodist Women’s Christmas party will be held Monday at 6 p.m. at the home of Sharon Bray. Crossroads Community Christian Church youth group will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday at the home of Dan and Teresa Butcher. “Happy Birthday Jesus” party will be held at Faith Church of Christ for children ages three through second grade from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday. Faith Church of Christ choir will present a Christmas cantata Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and a 6 p.m. Senior Saints dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Dec. 22 in the Faith Family Life Center. |
