ISP at Lafayette releases November statistics

Indiana State Police at the Lafayette Post have released statistics for November.

The breakdown includes: • Traffic citations issued (tickets),

1,516 • Truck citations issued, 311 • Traffic warnings issued, 509 • Criminal arrests, 58 (25 felony) • Drunk driving arrests, 27 • Commercial motor vehicle inspections,

52 • Vehicle crashes investigated,

63 • Crash arrests, 19 • Police services, 114

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division, working from the Lafayette Post, worked 13 new cases and assisted the troopers in total criminal arrests.

Motor Carrier Inspectors from the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, inspected 169 trucks with 29 placed out of service. There were over 4,000 trucks weighed at the scales this month.
