Krontiris
Salin Bank & Trust has hired Greg Krontiris as executive vice president and chief operating officer. K r o n t i r i s brings 20-plus years of banking experience to Salin Bank & Trust Co. He is a graduate of Cleveland State U n i v e r s i t y with an MBA in finance and a graduate of Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. He is active in community affairs and currently serves on the Board of the Indiana Repertory Theatre and the Care for Kids Foundation in Indianapolis.

CARROLL COUNTY FARM BUREAU was one of six county Farm Bureaus to be recognized for programs of outstanding merit at the annual state convention held Saturday in Indianapolis.

Called the President’s Awards, the awards are presented to county Farm Bureaus in each of IFB’s three membership classes in recognition of outstanding ongoing programs and outstanding new programs.

Carroll County Farm Bureau was recognized in Class 2 (2,000 to 3,399 members) for its semi-annual newsletter, “The Plow.” The Plow is designed to keep members informed of events and information that pertains specifically to Carroll County. The four-page publication is mailed in March and September, contains articles written by county Farm Bureau board members on government programs, recipes, safety, and other timely topics.
