Larry E. Kelly

Larry E. Kelly, 68, of Rossville, died Dec. 4, 2006, at his residence.

Born Aug. 29, 1938, in Lafayette, he was the son of Leo and Bernice Jackson Kelly. He married Shelby Smith in 1967 and they divorced. On Oct. 22, 1967, he married Audrey "Dee" Saylor, and she survives.

Mr. Kelly worked for Purdue University in the Power Plant as a maintenance expeditor. He retired in 1998.

A United States military veteran, he served in the Army from 1955 to 1957 and in the Air Force from 1957 to 1959.

He was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Delphi.

Also surviving are a son, Rick Kelly (wife: Mary) of Lafayette; two daughters, Cheryl Wilson (husband: Bryan) and Angela Kelly, all of Rossville; one sister, Rita Hankins (husband: George) of Clarks Hill; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Grace Missionary Baptist Church. Burial with military honors will be at Rossville Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, at Bodine Funeral Home, in Rossville.
