Washington Twp. The Rev. Ron Elly will be filling the pulpit during December at Deer Creek Presbyterian Church. Faith Lutheran Youth are planning to see the movie, "The Nativity," sometime in December. More information will be forthcoming. The Good Neighbor Gals recently went to lunch at Fisher's in Flora. Those attending were Dot Fulton, Mary Smith, Mary Ellen Johnson, Marilyn Hile, Susie Dyke, Betty Bell, Helen Forgey and Liz Mylet. The Golden Girls of Deer Creek met recently for lunch at Treece's in Burlington. Those attending were Joann Jones and Pat Burnham of Thorntown, Dot Fulton, Marilyn Hile, Margy Albaugh of Deer Creek, Mary Blue of Cutler and Betty Gordon of Logansport. The women of Faith Lutheran Church, known as the WELCA, will have their December meeting on the 12th at 11:30 a.m. at the Morning Star Girls Home in Logansport. Lunch will be served. WELCA members are to take small gifts for the residents and paper goods. All women of the church are invited to attend. |
