Burlington Cards to be distributed Dec. 17 at the Church of Christ may be left in the boxes at the doors. Burlington CWF Christmas carry-in will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the home of Heidi Pohlman. Those attending are asked to take a covered dish and Secret Sister gift for the exchange. Church of Christ Christmas caroling will be Dec. 17. Everyone should meet at the church at 4:45 p.m. Chili will be served afterwards. Worship service at the United Methodist Church will be earlier this Sunday so that those going to the Christmas program at the Beef 'N Boards may arrive on time. Service will start at 9 a.m. Crossroads Community Christian Church will go Christmas caroling on Sunday at 5 p.m. Afterwards chili will be served and practice for the children's Christmas program will be held. Practice for the children's program at Faith Church of Christ will be Saturday at 10 a.m. The program will be presented Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and again at 6 p.m. Youth ages three through second grade are invited to a Happy Birthday, Jesus, Party from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Dec. 16 at the church. Members and friends of the First Brethren Church are asked to bring food items for the needy to Sunday services. WMS will meet Dec. 15 at the home of Cynthia Stout. |
