Don Billings of Flora brought in a Flora Cornet band uniform that belonged to John Billings. This band marched in the Indianapolis 500 Parade in the 1920s.

The museum received four Oracle yearbooks from Margaret Burkle. They are for 1920, 1923, 1925 and 1928. These yearbooks are very interesting because of how the yearbooks are laid out, pictures and stories written and old advertisements showing some of the old time stores that are only in our memories.

Also received was a box of photographs from Jim Ferrier, who lives in Illinois. The pictures belonged to the family of his parents, Bob and Mary Guthrie Ferrier. Some of the other family names are Chapman, Wilson and Swatts.

Eric Flora brought in a quilt he bought off Ebay that is from the 1894 Flora M.E. Church Revival. It lists all of the new members at that time.

There are still a few Carroll County Legacy books left for sale. They would make a wonderful Christmas gift. They can be mailed to arrive just in time for Christmas. Call the museum at (765) 564-3152 for information.
