Reuben Brubaker has recently purchased Cottrell's Nuts & Sweets from Kenneth Cottrell and renamed the business NUT SHACK.

Brubaker will sell nut meats, chocolates, candymaking supplies and popcorn at the business located just south of Cottrells at 3106 E. 300 N., Camden. Hours are Tuesdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment. The phone number is 574-686-4194.

ROBIN STRYCKER has been named marketing director for Comfort Keepers. Owned and operated by Scott and Amanda Skinner, Comfort Keepers offers non-medical inhome care in Tippecanoe, Clinton and Carroll counties.

Strycker is a Lafayette resident, who was previously a local news/public service director for WGLM and WAZY. She hosted Insight Cable's "Shop Lafayette" and was a traffic reporter/producer for Westwood One Communications in Indianapolis.

She has been a caregiver with Comfort Keepers since July 2005.

Attorney ANNE BRIGGS of Flora attended the Purdue Income Tax School held Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 in Indianapolis.,
