Major Moves resurface project on SR25 completed
Comet staff report

The Indiana Department of Transportation completed the Major Moves resurface project on SR25 from SR218 near Delphi to US24/35 bypass near Logansport. A rolling operation milled and resurfaced the roadway for the past three months, making it smoother and safer for all motorists traveling on SR 25. The roadway is now open to unrestricted traffic.

The project is part of Governor Mitch Daniels' Major Moves highway program. the Indiana General Assembly passed the landmark funding legislation to significantly upgrade the state's highways in March of 2006

Major Moves will fund more than 200 new construction and 200 major highway preservation projects across Indiana over the next ten years. It creates thousands of jobs, economic opportunities for Hoosiers and will position Indiana to be a global leader in distribution and logistics.
