County toy/gift drive begins

Carroll County Kids toy drive is underway and will continue through Dec. 22.

Sponsored by Beta Alpha Chapter of Psi Iota Xi sorority, the annual drive is a means to collect toys and other gift items for children in the county who might not otherwise receive gifts for Christmas.

The toys and gifts are dispersed through the Toy Store for Delphi, Camden and Deer Creek; and through churches in Flora, Burlington, Cutler, and Bringhurst.

Toys and gifts should be new or in like-new condition. Ideas include baby blankets, bottles, toys for various ages, puzzles, books, Tshirts for teenagers, purses,

cologne, perfume, billfolds, make-up, shaving kits, razors, and games that can be used for families. Monetary donations are also welcome and are used to purchase additional items.

Gift drop-off locations include:, Jones' IGA in Burlington and Flora Utilities Office and Salin Bank & Trust in Flora.
