County toy/gift drive begins
      Carroll County Kids toy drive is underway and will continue through Dec. 22. Sponsored by Beta Alpha Chapter of Psi Iota Xi sorority, the annual drive is a means to collect toys and other gift items for children in the county who might not otherwise receive gifts for Christmas.

      Don Billings of Flora brought in a Flora Cornet band uniform that belonged to John Billings. This band marched in the Indianapolis 500 Parade in the 1920s. The museum received four Oracle yearbooks from Margaret Burkle. They are for 1920, 1923, 1925 and 1928.
