Bidders, buyers and spectators were entertained Saturday morning in Flora at the tree auction which benefited Friends of Adams Mill Covered Bridge. The 30 decorated trees brought the bridge fund $1,525 closer to the goal for the $291,000 grant. The Friends need only about $20,000 more to begin the project, and hope to be in a position to let bids by next October. The trees, donated by Connie Collins at Creative Holidaze, were decorated by individuals and businesses.
