Pesticide certification workshop set Dec. 6

The Delphi FFA and Carroll County Extension Office will host a pesticide program on Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Delphi Community High School Ag Wing.

The agenda for the morning includes: 8:15 - Registration; 9 to 9:45 - Pesticide Recordkeeping (required for certification) and Worker Protection Standards, presented by Steve Salomon from Excel Co-op; 9:45 to 10:30 - Poly Tank Selection, Inspection & Safety, presented by Fred Whitford from Purdue Extension; 10:30 to 12 noon - Drift, Nozzles and GPS (Light Bar and Auto Steer), presented by Brad Peas from Agro -Chem, Inc.
