Continuing the tradition
Clinton County Boy Scouts camped out at Trailhead Park last weekend. On Saturday, they worked on the Lime Kiln interpretive site and recovered the interior trails with clean crushed stone. Former troop member John Sloan built the original trails in 1999 for an Eagle Scout project. The current Scouts cleaned up the site and made it more accessible. It had become overgrown with minor brush, which the boys pruned back. Canal Board president Dan Mc- Cain said the Canal Association has hosted over two dozen Eagle Scout projects over the last 15 years. Photo provided
