Delphi has two big weekends coming up. The CHRISTMAS PARADE will be Dec. 2 at 1 p.m., with line-up starting at noon at the Monroe Street gym. The OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS open house at Canal Park will be Dec. 9 and 10. Music, art, and pioneer crafts will be featured. The holiday-decorated buildings will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1- 4 p.m. on Sunday.

SANTA will be coming to Flora Saturday to visit with children in his special house on Center Street. He will return every Saturday through Dec. 23. Hours for each visit will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The 17th annual CARROLL COUNTY FOLK ART SHOW will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the 4-H Community Building in Flora. Thirty door prizes will be awarded and lunch will be served by Burlington Kiwanis Club.

OAKLAWN ACRES CHRISTMAS LIGHTS will be on beginning Thanksgiving night through Dec. 31. Viewing hours are Sundays through Thursdays from 6 to 10 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 11 p.m. The holiday light show is found two miles southeast of Rossville in Clinton County at the corner of CRs 300W and 800N.
