Camden Elementary School students will present a program honoring veterans on Friday at 1:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Mt. Zion Masonic Lodge will host a supper for all Masons and Eastern Star members and their spouses on Friday at 6 p.m. in the Masonic Temple.

A Community Veterans and Thanksgiving Service will be held Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Building. Sponsored by Camden Area Council of Churches, the event will feature the Tonsil Klackers, Tippecanotes and the Yellow Pages. Veterans will be recognized. A love offering will be taken to benefit the county Released Time Christian Education Program and help offset program costs.

Order of the Eastern Star will meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Masonic Temple. Hostesses will be Bill and Mickie Veach.

Camden Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the town hall.

Camden Town Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in the Fireman's Lounge for their annual Thanksgiving meeting and carryin dinner. Family members will be guests, along with District Governor Lional McConnaha.

Women's Missionary Society will meet at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in the home of Jimpsie Doyel. Nancy Dillon will present the lesson. Bible book of the month is John I, II, and III.

Aim Hi E.H. Club will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 16 in the home of Maryanne Berkshire with Pam Minier as co-hostess. Members are reminded to bring their pig or elephant in a poke for the auction. The October meeting was held recently in the home of Jane George with Evetta Recher assisting. Donna Swayze gave devotions and the lesson, "Matters of Life and Death," was presented by Mary Trapp and Jean Willy. Members celebrating birthdays were Sue Wertz, Jane George, and Mary Whitfield. Prize winners were Mary Trapp and Justine Crume.

Camden Lions Club met last Wedneday evening in the Fireman's Lounge with 14 members attending. Also present were Vice District Governor and Mrs. Ron Spivey. Ron King and Rob Appleton, were inducted into membership.

The Board of Christian Education of the Baptist Church met last Wednesday night in the home of Sue Wertz with eight members attending. Sunday School teachers are needed. The next meeting will be Dec. 5 in the home of Janet George.

Tickets are available in the town office for the quilt raffle to be held at the December town council meeting.
