Burlington Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 19 at the United Methodist Church. Pastor Tim Pohlman will give the message. An all-church Thanksgiving dinner will be held Sunday at p.m. at the Church of Christ. Family Ties and Overtones gospel sing will follow at 7 at the United Methodist Church. Crossroads Community Christian Church will have a church breakfast Sunday morning at 8:30. Crossroads Community Christian Church will be making special Thanksgiving door signs for residents at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi. Faith Church of Christ will have its annual meeting Sunday during the Sunday School hour. An all-church Harvest Dinner will follow at 12 noon. During the 9 a.m. service, David Morris, a missionary in India, will share about his work there. The First Brethren Church will have a Harvest Dinner Sunday following services. Kiwanis Club will meet at 7:30 a.m. Saturday for breakfast and meeting at the fire station. Veterans will be honored. |
