and Pam Schnepp, formerly of Delphi.

Schnepp and his wife Jennifer own and operate Peacefield Farm, where they specialize in cut flowers and art.

"Writing has been a special interest of mine for a long time," Schnepp said. "I'm enjoying the challenge and opportunity to work at the Comet and learn the craft of newspaper writing."

Schnepp began working in the Delphi office in October and his work is now appearing weekly in the publication.

KRISTI WHITWORTH has been named the new director of the Carroll County YMCA Child Care program.

She will coordinate the program and oversee all of the child care teachers and assistants.

Whitworth has over 20 years of experience working with families and children.

She brings director experience from a child care facility in Lafayette.

She attends Indiana University in Kokomo and resides in Flora with her two sons.
