Ralph H. Jenkins

Ralph H. Jenkins, 75, of Rossville, died Oct. 29, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.

Born Nov. 19, 1930, in Carroll County, he was the son of Seth J. and Virgil D. Flora Jackson. He married Ruby Wagoner on Oct. 17, 1956, and she survives.

Mr. Jenkins was retired from Purdue University where he was employed in maintenance for student housing for 27 years.

He was a member of the Northfork Old German Baptist Brethren Church.

Also surviving are two sons, Roger Jenkins (wife: Ann) of Rossville and Randy Jenkins (wife: Sarah) of Modesto, Calif.; one daughter, Rosalyn Bower (husband: Duane) of Eaton, Ohio; two sisters, Dorothy Eikenberry (husband: Bryce) of Flora and Mary Ellen Miller (husband: Lloyd) of Modesto, Calif.; one brother; Carl Jenkins (wife: Naomi) of Flora; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Northfork Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Home brethren will officiate and burial will be at the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, at the church.
