Hillcrest invites veterans and community to special program

Students, staff, and guests of Hillcrest Elementary School in Delphi will observe Veterans Day 2006 on Nov. 10 at 8:45 a.m. in the Hillcrest gymnasium. The theme will be "Of the People, By the People, For the People."

Delphi American Legion/VFW Color Guard and Firing Squad will participate, along with the Hillcrest Fifth Grade Choir.

All veterans are invited to attend as honored guests. Members of the community are

also invited to attend this special program that is a way for students to express their appreciation and gratitude to all who have served this country and its citizens in the preservation of democracy and freedoms.
