Camden Camden American Legion Auxiliary Unit 413 will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the Legion Home. The district president will be a guest. Hostesses will be Grace Deel and Carol Draper. Volunteer firemen will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Fireman's Lounge. There is no blood drive this Saturday as was previously reported. Camden Masons will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Masonic Temple. Camden-Jackson Township Public Library board will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Reading Room. United Methodist Women will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 9 in the church. Hostess will be Marge Sieber. A farewell fellowship carry-in dinner honoring Pastor Chad Hoesman and family will be held Sunday following morning services at the Baptist Church. Meat and drinks will be provided. Pastor Hoesman's last Sunday in the pulpit will be Nov. 12. Mount Zion Masonic Lodge will host a supper for all Masons and Eastern Star members and their spouses on Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. in the Masonic Temple. Community Veterans Thanksgiving Service, sponsored by Camden Area Council of Churches, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 12 in the Community Building. Featured entertainment will be the Tippecanotes, Tonsil Klackers, and the Yellow Pages. Pastor Chad Hoesman will give the Thanksgiving message. A love offering will be taken to help defray expenses and be given to Carroll County Released Time Christian Education program. Women's Missionary Society of the Baptist Church met Oct. 15 at the church with five members and two guests attending. Guest speaker was Holly Stewart, director of Delphi Birthright, and Norma Brooks. |
