American College of Dentists awards Fellowship to Forgey Dr. Joe E. Forgey of Noblesville was awarded Fellowship in the American College of Dentists on Oct. 17 during its annual meeting and convocation in Las Vegas, Nev. Dr. Forgey has practiced pediatric dentistry in Hamilton County for 29 years. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Indiana Dental Association. The American College of Dentists is the oldest national honorary organization for dentists. It was founded in 1920 to recognize dentists who have made significant contributions to the advancement of dentistry. The mission of the American College of Dentists is to promote excellence, ethics, professionalism, and leadership in dentistry. Fellowship in the College is by invitation and is based on demonstrated leadership and contributions to the dental profession and society. Approximately 3.5 percent of dentists are Fellows of the American College of Dentists. Dr. Forgey graduated from Carroll High School in 1966. He is the son of Helen and Wayne Forgey of Washington Township. |
