Living Faith Church of the Brethren's annual all-you-caneat CHICKEN POT PIE SUPPER will be Nov. 6 from 4:30- 7:30 p.m. at the church. The meal includes cake or pie, and baked goods will for sale. The supper is sponsored by the Women's Fellowship. The church is located at 310N 250W, Flora.

Burlington United Methodist Church's FALL CHURCH BAZAAR will be Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The bazaar will include homemade noodles and candy, mincemeat, and baked goods. A chicken and noodle lunch also will be served. The Carroll County Sheriff's Department will do CHILD FINGERPRINTING during the bazaar. Parents should bring a current photo of their child. The church is located at the corner of SR 29 and West 10th Street.

Women of all ages are invited to a WOMEN'S EVENT, "Encouraging Truth Ministry," with speaker Jackie Weaver. The event will be Oct. 28 from 8 a.m. to noon at First Christian Church in Flora. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with a continental breakfast served from 8 to 8:45. A licensed minister, Weaver recently launched "Encouraging Word Ministries," which combines her gifts of speaking, prayer, and art. Childcare will be provided; call ahead. Tickets may be purchased the day of the event or for a discount in advance by calling 574- 967-4246.
