Befus-Mroz pledge vows

Aimie Befus and Jeff Mroz were united in marriage on July 8 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Aguinas Center in West Lafayette. Father Dan Davis officiated the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is daughter of Mary Guckien of Delphi and Jim Befus of Lyons, Colo. Parents of the groom are Kathy and John Mroz of Valparaiso.

Maid of honor was Callie Schimmel of Delphi, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kellie Trent of Delphi, cousin of the bride; Jodie Bollhorst and Janelle Gonzalez, both of Valparaiso and sisters of the groom, Elizabeth Hofmann and LauraMartin, both of Delphi, Kristen Stuckwisch of Joliet, Ill., Rachel Rhode and Angie Moreland, both of Indianapolis.

Ring bearers were Max and Sam Schimmel of Delphi, nephews of the bride, and Jacob Bollhorst of Fairfax, Va., nephew of the groom.

Dustin Harrington of Valparaiso, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Dan Davis and Tom Gioia, both of Valparaiso, John Elston, of Delphi, nephew of the bride, Travis Bontrager of Colorado Springs, Colo., Derrick Raymer of West Lafayette, John Folta ofMunster, MattWeaver of Indianapolis, and Patrick Sheets of Anderson.

Ushers were Joe Gonzales, of Fairfax, Va., and George Bollhorst of Valparaiso, both brothers in-law of the groom.

A reception was held at Maize on Columbia in Lafayette.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Delphi Community High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in management in 2001. She is employed at NationalWine and Spirits as a business analyst.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Valparaiso High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2001. He is employed at Allison Transmission as a production supervisor.

Following a one-week wedding trip to Big Island, Hawaii, the couple is residing at 5832 Hillside Ave. in Indianapolis.
