Magel Warf Magel Warf, 71, of Camden, died at 1:52 a.m. Oct. 19, 2006, at St. Mary's Healthcare Center in Lafayette. Born April 13, 1935, in Knox County, Ky., he was the son of William and Cora Williams Warf. He served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959. On June 29, 1962, in Jellico, Tenn., he married Phyllis Walton, who survives. Mr. Warf was retired from Rockwell International. He had resided in Carroll County for 27 years and was a member of the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church. Surviving with his wife are two sons, Billy Warf of Camden and Ron Warf of Rossville; five daughters, Marilyn Warf and Mitzi Truhn, both of Logansport, and Michelle Graham, Linda Warf and Glenda Warf, all of Camden; one brother, Kenneth Warf of Himyar, Ky.; one sister, Vesta Davis of Himyar, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded him in death. Visitation was held Friday at Cree Funeral Home in Camden. Services were Sunday at Knox Funeral Home in Barbourville, Ky. Burial was at Farley Cemetery in Himyar, Ky. Memorials may be made to the Cass County (Indiana) Special Olympics. |
