FB offers scholarships for adults

Indiana Farm Bureau District 3 is offering two separate, nontraditional $500 scholarships to adult Farm Bureau members who reside in District 3. The district covers Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Jasper, Newton, Tippecanoe and White counties.

One scholarship is intended to encourage leadership development, to a District 3 member who is enrolled in the Indiana Agricultural Leadership Institute's leadership program.

One scholarship is for a District 3 member who is at least 21 years old and who is enrolled in any institution of higher education.

All applications must be received by District 3 Director Kendell Culp by Oct. 31.

Application forms are available from county Farm Bureau offices, from Culp, or online at www.infarmbureau.org. To find the form online, float your cursor over the "Education" heading in the menu on the left side of the page, and when the dropdown box appears, click on "Scholarships."
