Children may trick-or-treat in Camden on Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. Lions Club is sponsoring a costume judging contest that evening, too, at 7:30 in the Community Building. Prizes will be awarded.

The fall reminisce meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 1 at the Camden-Jackson Township Public Library. Everyone is welcome to bring stories and photos to share.

Storytime at the library is held at 4:30 p.m. eachWednesday.

A concert featuring Chalisa Keaton will be held Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Camden United Methodist Church. The public is welcome to attend.

The Christian gospel group, Restoration, will perform during the Sunday morning worship service at the Camden Baptist Church.

Camden Lions Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1 in the Fireman's Lounge. The vice district governor will be a guest.

Dorcas Missionary Society of the Baptist Church will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 2 in the church. Hostesses will be Melody Hodges and Anna Case.

Ablood drive will be held Nov. 4 at the Camden Community Building.

The raffle of the quilt donated by Jane Penn to help raise funds for Camden's 175th anniversary next July 21-22 will be held at the Camden Town Council meeting on Dec. 12. Tickets are available in the town office.

Camden's 175th anniversary committee met last week in the Fireman's Lounge. Several ideas were discussed for the event to be held July 21-22. The next meeting will be in January.
